Rising Demand for Entry-Level CDL-A Truck Drivers Shows Another Sign of Economic Recovery
Pontiac, Mich. Michigan’s truck freight declined significantly due in part to the collapse of auto manufacturing. Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers’ St. Louis, Missouri location was also impacted by the challenging economic times facing the nation. However, due to the geographical location of St. Louis, the number of entry-level positions remained much higher. The availability of career opportunities in the trucking industry is continuing to see increases in the St. Louis region. Today, more than 15 trucking companies are offering to hire graduates of Nu-Way from the St. Louis area.
